On-the-Go Security

Your phone is your wallet, inbox, 2FA key and work tool in one device — and increasingly your security depends on how you behave away from home. This section is built around the mobile, remote-work and travel scenarios where most everyday incidents actually begin: a link in a text, a café Wi-Fi network, a lost phone abroad.

You'll find practical, do-it-today checklists: the iOS and Android settings worth changing for app permissions, updates, lock screen and phishing hygiene; a remote-work routine for freelancers and employees connecting from cafés and hotels; and a full travel checklist split into before you leave, during the trip and when you get home.

This is the most VPN-relevant section, and we keep the framing fair: a VPN is genuinely useful on public and hotel Wi-Fi, while travelling and for privacy on networks you don't control — but it sits alongside MFA, backups, device encryption and updates, not in place of them.
